Happy Soul Films has filmed weddings from our studio in Brampton since 2016. Most of our couples marry close to home, in Peel, Toronto, York Region and Halton. Sometimes the celebration is somewhere else in Canada: a reception in Surrey where the grandparents live, an engagement film in the Rockies, or a wedding weekend in Calgary. We offer both wedding videography and wedding photography, so one team can tell the story in motion and in stills.
Our home: Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area
Coverage anywhere in the GTA is part of your collection, with no added travel charge. That's where we know the banquet halls, gurdwaras, mandirs and mosques best, and where most of our films are made.
Peel Region: Brampton, Mississauga and Caledon
Our studio is in Brampton, and Peel is where we film most often, from large banquet halls to estate venues in Caledon. Wedding videography in Brampton.
Toronto

York Region: Vaughan, Markham and Richmond Hill
Convention centres and banquet halls along Highway 7 and the 400, plus Kleinburg and Unionville for portraits.
Halton and the west GTA: Oakville, Milton and Burlington
Lakeside and golf-club venues in Oakville and Burlington, and Milton, where South Asian families make up more than a quarter of the town (2021 census).
Durham Region: Ajax, Pickering, Whitby and Oshawa
East of Toronto, across the 401 corridor.
Elsewhere in Ontario
Hamilton, Niagara, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, London, Windsor, Muskoka and Ottawa are all within a drive or a short flight.
British Columbia and Alberta
Families often span both sides of the country, and we're happy to travel west. Our portfolio already includes a concept film in the Canadian Rockies and an engagement film in Banff.

Frequently asked questions
Do you film weddings outside Ontario?
Yes. We travel anywhere in Canada, including British Columbia, Alberta and Quebec. Our portfolio includes a concept film in the Canadian Rockies and an engagement film in Banff.
Is there a travel fee for weddings outside the GTA?
Coverage within the GTA is included. For weddings elsewhere, travel and accommodation are planned into your personalised quote.
Do you offer photography as well as videography?
Yes. We offer both wedding videography and wedding photography.
Can we meet you if we live outside Ontario?
Yes. Most out-of-province couples meet us over Zoom, and the client portal keeps every detail of your celebrations in one place.
How far ahead should we book a wedding outside Ontario?
As early as you can. Travel weddings need flights and accommodation planned, and summer weekends fill first. Many couples reach out a year or more ahead.
Where is your studio?
Our studio is at 105 Wildberry Crescent, Brampton, Ontario. Consultations are by appointment, in person or over Zoom.
