Wedding videographer in Brampton
Cinematic wedding films from our Brampton studio, for celebrations across Peel, the GTA and beyond.
Brampton is where Happy Soul Films began, and it's still where we sit down with every couple. Since 2016 we've filmed weddings in the city's banquet halls, gurdwaras, mandirs and family homes. We've learned how a Brampton wedding weekend really runs: the early-morning baraat on a residential street, the long drive between the gurdwara and the reception, the moment a quiet dholki turns into a dance floor. Our films are built around those rhythms, so the story feels like yours rather than a template.
A Brampton studio, a boutique experience
We take on a limited number of weddings each year so every couple has our full attention, from first hello to final film. Your journey starts with a conversation at our studio at 12 Lagrotto Rd, Brampton, or over Zoom if family is spread across time zones. We walk you through past films, learn how the two of you are together, and map out your celebrations event by event.
After you book, you get a personalised client portal. Your itinerary, timings and vendor details live there, and you can update them up to two weeks before the wedding. That way we arrive at every event already knowing where to stand, who to look for and which moments matter most to your family.
South Asian weddings, filmed with understanding
Most of the weddings we film in Brampton are South Asian, and many run across three or four days. We plan coverage around your rituals, not a generic run sheet:
- Sikh weddings: the milni, the Anand Karaj and the four laavan, filmed with reverence and the discretion a gurdwara asks of us, then the energy of the reception.
- Hindu and Gujarati weddings: haldi, pithi, mehndi, sangeet, garba and raas, the varmala, and pheras under the mandap, with dedicated audio so every vow is heard.
- Muslim weddings: mehndi, nikaah and walima, filmed respectfully, with coverage planned around each family's preferences.
- Mixed and fusion weddings: two traditions, one story, edited so both families recognise themselves.
Every collection includes 15 hours of wedding and reception coverage, professional sound, production lighting and 4K capture. Pre-wedding events such as a mehndi or sangeet are added at $400 per hour, so you can build coverage that matches your weekend exactly.
Venues we know well
Knowing a venue changes the film. It tells us where the light falls at golden hour, where the DJ booth will sit and how long the walk from the doli to the car really is. In and around Brampton we've filmed at venues including Embassy Grand Convention Centre, Pearson Convention Centre, Grand Empire Banquet & Convention Centre and Queen's Manor Event Centre. In neighbouring Caledon we've filmed at Royal Ambassador Event Centre and Caledon Country Club. Our journal has practical notes, such as camera plans for large GTA banquet halls, if you'd like to see how we prepare.
For your engagement or concept film, Brampton puts some of Ontario's most cinematic backdrops within easy reach, from the conservation areas of Caledon to the Toronto skyline. Our e-shoot location guide covers sixteen of our favourite spots in Toronto and Ontario.
What you receive
Every film is edited in-house by the team who knew your story from the first consultation. Depending on your collection, you'll receive:
- A documentary film for each event, usually 30 minutes to 3 hours long, so the ceremony, speeches and performances are kept in full.
- A Signature cinematic or storytelling highlight film, the five-to-ten-minute piece you'll share with everyone you love.
- Optional same-day or next-day edits, cut within hours and premiered on the big screen at your reception. A same-day edit needs at least three hours between the ceremony and the reception.
- Optional concept films: a pre-wedding story shot across at least two locations, often played at the reception before your entrance.

Beyond Brampton
Most of our couples are from Brampton, Mississauga, Toronto, Vaughan, Caledon and Milton, but we travel wherever the story takes us. That has meant the Canadian Rockies for a concept film, California for a wedding weekend, and destination celebrations abroad. See our destination wedding films.
Our work has been featured in Zari, TIFF, Maharani, South Asian Bride, MBK, Lavish and Dil Mil.
