Vaughan: the grand-hall wedding

Many of the GTA's best-known convention and event centres are in Vaughan, with ceilings, chandeliers and staircases built for big entrances. Rooms like these reward planning. We scout sight lines for the stage and the dance floor, light the entrances and first dance with production lighting, and keep a dedicated camera on the families so reactions aren't lost in the crowd.

For portraits, Kleinburg's village streets and the Humber River valley nearby give a quieter, greener contrast to a ballroom reception.

Markham: many cultures, one weekend

Markham is home to large South Asian, Chinese and other communities, and fusion weddings are common here: a Hindu ceremony in the morning and a tea ceremony in the afternoon, or a Tamil wedding with a Western reception. We edit these days so both families recognise themselves in the film, with rituals kept in order and explained through the moments rather than captions.

Unionville's historic Main Street and Toogood Pond are favourite spots for engagement shoots and couple portraits, and the Rouge Valley is close by for a more natural backdrop.

Richmond Hill: hotels, golf clubs and the moraine

Richmond Hill weddings often mix a hotel or golf-club reception with outdoor portraits in the parks and trails of the Oak Ridges Moraine. Because the region spreads north to south, travel time between the bride's home, the ceremony and the reception can be longer than couples expect. We map every leg of the day in your client portal so nothing is rushed.

Sikh, Hindu and Muslim weddings in York Region

• Sikh weddings: the milni, the Anand Karaj and the four laavan, filmed with the discretion a gurdwara asks of us.
• Hindu, Tamil and Gujarati weddings: haldi, mehndi, sangeet and garba, the varmala and pheras, with dedicated audio so every vow is heard.
• Muslim weddings: mehndi, nikaah and walima, with coverage planned around each family's preferences.

Every collection includes 15 hours of wedding and reception coverage, professional sound, production lighting and 4K capture. Pre-wedding events are added at $400 per hour, and same-day or next-day edits can be premiered at your reception.
