Happy Soul Films is a studio in Brampton, Ontario, near Toronto, that has filmed South Asian weddings since 2016. We travel to Boston for weddings and engagement shoots, including Lexington, Burlington and Acton.

We plan coverage around your traditions:
- Sikh weddings: the jaggo and maiyan, the milni, the Anand Karaj and the four laavan, filmed with the discretion a gurdwara asks of us.
- Hindu and Gujarati weddings: haldi, pithi, garba and sangeet, the baraat, varmala and pheras, with dedicated audio so every vow is heard.
- Muslim weddings: mehndi, baraat, nikaah, rukhsati and walima, filmed respectfully and planned around each family's preferences.
- Tamil, Telugu, Malayali and other South Indian weddings, and fusion weddings where two cultures share one story.

Engagement shoots in Boston
Beacon Hill, the Public Garden, the Charles River, Cape Ann and the New England fall colours make a beautiful engagement shoot. Fall foliage weekends book up early, so we plan dates well ahead.

How a Boston wedding works with us
- Consultation over Zoom, in Eastern time, the same time zone as Toronto.
- Your client portal holds the itinerary, timings, addresses and vendor contacts.
- A planning call with your planner, decorator or DJ, so entrances and speeches are mapped in advance.
- Travel. It's about a 90-minute flight from Toronto. We arrive before the first event to walk the venues and check the light.
Films and photographs from one team
Depending on your collection, you'll receive a documentary film for each event, a five-to-ten-minute cinematic or storytelling highlight film, photography, and optional same-day edits, next-day edits and concept films.

Our collections are priced in Canadian dollars. Every collection includes 15 hours of wedding and reception coverage, professional sound, production lighting and 4K capture. Are you based in Boston?
